La Casa de Maria

La Casa de Maria is a non-profit retreat and conference center located in the coastal foothills just south of Santa Barbara, on 35 acres of oak and fruit trees in a beautiful garden setting. There is an “all faiths” chapel for services or meetings, and a meditation chapel. Dining is buffet style with vegetarian meals upon request. The weekend will consist of large and small group sharing, writing, interactive workshops, individual discussion and loving fellowship. We will supply you with a special 4th Step workbook (you only need to bring a pen). Space is limited, so get your reservation
in early! We ask that you bring a healthy snack to share with the group.

This workshop is presented under Al-Anon’s guidelines for “Mini Convention, Share A Thons, Workshops or Other Get Togethers” 2004-2006 Al-Alanon & Alateen Service Manual pg. 72 “Members may choose to plan get-togethers for public information, service or OTHER SHARING PURPOSES. Chairpersons of these events are not necessarily chosen by, or members of, their Area World Service Committee (AWSC).
A Place of Renewal & Discovery
The 4th Step Workshop is presented by active
Al-Anon members who have completed the Steps.
The workshop is offered because we want to share the
spiritual freedom that is the result of doing a Fourth Step in Al-Anon.
We use Al-Anon conference approved literature and share
from the unique Al-Anon perspective on the 12 Steps and Traditions.
